Background.

JBP created a branded webinar series, Power to Your Business, to highlight the opportunities of solar energy and battery storage to energy intensive sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, data centres and airports. In doing so, the series supports engagement with key decision makers and influencers, as well as support leading generation activities.

Plan of action.

The webinar series takes the form of panel debates, covering a wide range of topics to enhance understanding of solar energy among potential buyers. Key themes include financing, funding options, and return on investment; the journey to adopting solar energy, from initial audits and feasibility assessments to installation and online monitoring; and cutting-edge advancements in technology, such as AI innovations, solar PV developments, and energy storage solutions.
Chaired by a former BBC producer for added credibility, the debates feature a mix of internal and external experts, offering a mixture of diverse specialist insights and real-world experiences.

Results.

The webinar series has been highly successful with hundreds of businesses registering for the broadcasts. The events have also directly led to securing new business opportunities.
To date, four episodes have been produced, featuring a diverse range of cross-sector experts, including the Vice Chair of Energy UK, a sustainability consultant for England Rugby, the HSQE and Facilities Manager for Plasser UK, and the Head of Sustainability at Renishaw UK.
