Intro

This year, we’re celebrating 35 years of delivering a wide scope of bold and brilliant communications for our clients. That’s 35 years of networking, engaging the media, telling new stories, driving change, promoting our clients and building an agency equipped to handle the demands of modern communications.

But with ‘modern communications’ changing all the time, it’s only natural that we would change too.

Traditional PR meets Digital Disruption

With the media landscape changing more than ever before and JBP growing and adapting to facilitate the varying needs of our clients, evolving the brand was as much about showcasing our services and client work, as it was to reflect the personality of our business and championing the talent behind it all, our brilliant people.

With a reputation of delivering effective PR strategies and a big name in Public Affairs, we wanted to ensure our more traditional activities were benefitting from the updated skills we’ve acquired in other areas, specifically digital. With a new creative team at our disposal, we’re able to communicate stories more authentically and drive strategy much more powerfully, through graphic and motion visuals, engaging audiences in new ways.

Digital Appearance with Brilliant Personality

We wanted to make sure JBP was still recognisable when changing our identity, our clients know us very well and it was important we kept a familiarity with the brand. However, we also wanted to reflect our continued efforts to provide relevant and modern services in communications. A simplified logo achieved a cleaner appearance, well defined and bold, as well as adopting new statements to reflect the business: Communications. Public Policy. Digital & Marketing.

Although traditionally our founders’ initials, over recent years, the letters JBP have become a mantra internally to remind ourselves we’re a team of just brilliant people. A simple statement that also says to our clients that all our work happens because of the awesome team that work here.

Taking this idea, we developed the new brand to not only reflect the updated services we offer, but also promote our company culture, and celebrate the people inside the business helping to achieve results for our clients.

So, What’s New?

A big part of delivering our new identity is our website, moving from a rather dated and (in parts) dysfunctional design to a simplified, clean and user focused interface, allowing visitors to discover our services in detail, as well as learn all about the way we work and the vision that drives us. The language we’ve adopted is more human, the faces of our people can be seen throughout the content they’ve crafted and there’s much more emphasis on our blog and how we can share stories, advice, client news and opinions on what’s happening in the industry.

To add to our new visual feast, we’ve also set-up an Instagram channel to celebrate our refresh and show you what we’re up to, so take a look and if you don’t already, why not follow us on Twitter too!

Hopefully you’ll enjoy the new look as much as we do. And if you want to find out how our new services can help your latest campaign, get in touch – we love meeting people and welcome new opportunities to #makeitbrilliant!
