National communications agency, JBP Communications, has expanded its pool of political expertise with the appointment of its first Reform UK Senior Counsel.
Councillor Natalie Oliver is the latest to join the business’s cross-party network of senior advisors, bringing fresh perspective and insight as it helps clients navigate the strategic decisions that matter most for them.
Natalie serves as Lead Member for Children’s Services & Culture at Lincolnshire County Council, where she heads up one of the country’s highest-performing children’s services.
Working closely with MPs, national colleagues and regional partners, Natalie also plays an active role in shaping policy and strengthening the East Midlands’ voice with government.
Her wider roles include Chair of the Lead Member Network for East Midlands Councils and Spokesperson for Economic Growth for the County Councils Network (CCN). She also brings with her a unique media nous through her position as Press Secretary for Reform UK (Lincolnshire).
Alongside her political work, Natalie has established and grown a successful business portfolio and held NHS-linked operational roles, giving her practical insight across the public and private sectors.
Speaking on her appointment, Natalie said: “I am delighted to bring a new political perspective to JBP as its first senior counsel representing Reform UK, and I look forward to using the expertise and networks I have developed across the public and private sectors to support the team in delivering for clients both in the East Midlands and nationwide.”
A key part of Natalie’s role will be supporting JBP Local, the agency’s specialist local government consultancy service.
Made up of former council leaders, cabinet members and experienced officers from across the political spectrum, the team helps councils deliver on local priorities and overcome key challenges – from seeking infrastructure and regeneration funding to amplifying community voices, engaging with businesses and navigating the local government reorganisation.
Mark Hawthorne, Director of JBP Local, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Natalie to the JBP team. As a representative of Reform UK, her appointment brings a new dimension to the political insight available through our senior counsel network and strengthens the value we can deliver for private and public clients across the country.
“I especially look forward to her support with JBP Local, helping councils have the conversations that matter – whether in the village hall or in Whitehall – as we move further into 2026 and one of the most consequential periods of change in local government.”
