JBP, a leading communications and PR agency based in Bristol, UK, is on the lookout for a Junior Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our design and digital team, contributing to projects that span print and digital media.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for various projects, including branding, brochures, websites, social media graphics, and email campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of visually appealing designs that effectively communicate our clients’ messages to their target audience.
- Modify and enhance existing designs to meet client specifications and elevate overall design quality.
- Stay current on design trends, software, and industry best practices to ensure our work remains innovative and impactful.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a design role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creative process, design skills, and completed projects.
- Knowledge of design trends and principles.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Basic understanding of print and web design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
