Leading communications agency deepens northern roots with new Leeds hub

National communications agency, JBP Communications, has strengthened its footprint in the North of England with the opening of a new office in Leeds.

The move marks the next key milestone in the company’s strategic growth plans and follows the appointment of seasoned PR expert Louise French as Northern Regional Director.

The new office, located at a premier business address in Leeds city centre, provides new and existing clients in the region with enhanced access to the agency’s full suite of services, from public relations to planning communications and engagement, digital and design and its Westminster-based political affairs specialists.

Chris Lawrance, Managing Director at JBP Communications, said: “Opening a Leeds office is a natural next step in our Northern expansion plans. Leeds is a bullseye location for us as we see significant communications and stakeholder engagement opportunities in the built environment and infrastructure development sectors, in which we specialise.

“This latest move will also allow us to better support clients in the city region while offering seamless access to the expertise of our entire UK team.

He added: “Louise’s appointment has already added momentum to our Northern strategy, and the Leeds office provides a strong platform to build on that as we continue to grow at pace and scale.”

Louise French added: “I’m thrilled to be playing a role in JBP’s continued growth journey and look forward to realising the full potential of this new northern gateway, working with colleagues across the wider JBP network to help clients secure the business-critical decisions that matter most to them.”

JBP Communications brings more than four decades of expertise across sectors including the built environment and infrastructure development, the low-carbon economy, local and regional government, logistics and transport, the rural economy and telecoms.

Its client portfolio includes names such as Barratt Homes, CHEP, E.ON, Independent Networks Cooperative Association, EcoVadis, Allego UK, Linde Material Handling, National Grid and Palletways Group.

The newly established Leeds office – located at Floor 3, Cubo, 6 Wellington Place, LS1 4AP – joins JBP’s UK network of operations, which also includes Bristol, Cardiff, London (Westminster) and Harrogate.
