JBP has strengthened its board by appointing three new directors to play pivotal roles in the company’s continued growth:
- James Hinchcliffe – A former external communications manager for B&NES Council and communications manager at NHS England, James has over seventeen years of strategic communications, local public affairs and team leadership experience. He leads on the development of high-level tenders and is currently strategic engagement director at JBP.
- Julie Williams – Originally joining JBP’s Bristol office over 20 years ago, Julie has helped to transform the company’s financial function. In her current role as operations director, she leads the Accounts, HR and Operations departments.
- Chris Hayward – Chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee of the Corporation of the City of London, Chris has been a senior counsel at JBP for several years and has business experience in property, infrastructure, and planning and strategic communication. He will also take office as sheriff of the City of London later this year.
Julie and James have been appointed to the JBP Board with immediate effect, while Chris Hayward will take up his board membership in September.
Today’s announcement comes at an exciting time for the business, which has secured a number of significant new client wins, undergone a soft-rebrand following the development of its internal design studio, and moved its Bristol office to larger premises – all in the last twelve months.
Steve Anderson-Dixon, chief executive of JBP, said: “In an increasingly challenging and fast-moving economy, we’ve taken the opportunity to reflect on the most effective ways in which we can secure further growth for the business – and we have decided to change the dynamic of the board to bring about a different perspective.
“Julie, James and Chris have all contributed enormously over recent years and their appointment to the JBP Board recognises their talent, hard work and commitment. I’d like to give my warmest congratulations to each of our new board members and look forward to working with them in their new roles as we accelerate our strategic plan for the business.”
