Leading communications agency, JBP Communications, has expanded its UK footprint and deepened its presence in Wales with the launch of a new office in Cardiff.
A natural extension for the multi-award-winning firm, which has a 40-year-strong presence in the South West of England, the move enables JBP to deliver its full suite of services – including public relations, parliamentary affairs, stakeholder engagement, and creative consultancy – to clients in Wales.
It comes as part of a major expansion plan, which has also included the establishing of a new office in Harrogate to support JBP’s operations in the North of England.
The new Cardiff hub is led by Rhys Morgan and Nicholas Pinocci, who head JBP’s digital and design team. It connects businesses in Wales with the agency’s national network of PR strategists, former journalists, stakeholder engagement specialists, local government leaders, political advisors and award-winning creatives.
The launch coincides with the appointment of senior counsel Paul Smith; a highly respected public affairs expert with deep roots in Welsh politics. Paul’s expertise will complement JBP’s Westminster-based team, enhancing the agency’s ability to provide high-value public affairs support to clients in Wales and beyond.
Chris Lawrance, Managing Director of JBP Communications, said: “Establishing a dedicated Cardiff office is a pivotal step in our strategic growth and enables us to better leverage our expert team to support businesses in Wales. This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering meaningful impact through strategic, purpose-led communications to help clients secure the business-critical decisions that matter most to them.”
JBP Communications brings decades of expertise across a range of sectors, including the built environment, healthcare, the low-carbon economy, local and regional government, logistics and transport, the rural economy, trade bodies and telecoms.
The newly-established Cardiff office – located at 2 Fitzalan Rd, Cardiff CF24 0HA – joins JBP’s UK network of operations, which also includes Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London (Westminster), Manchester, Nottingham and Warwick.
