Before joining JBP I was working in my native New Zealand as Campaign Operations Lead at the New Zealand National Party – New Zealand’s largest centre right political Party. In this role I lead the day-to-day campaign efforts for the Tauranga by-election where we won with over 56% of the vote. Tripling the vote margin that we won the seat by in the previous general election.
Prior to that role I worked in a variety of positions at the National Party and the New Zealand Parliament. Including as a Regional Advisor where I supported 24 constituencies prepare for the next general election, and as a personal policy advisor to the Shadow Secretary for Energy and Resources.
Over my career to date I have successfully helped politicians and political parties take their message to the public, but in coming to the UK I wanted to help the public take their message to politicians instead. JBP works with organisations of all shapes, sizes, and industries, and the opportunity to support them have their voice heard throughout Whitehall and Westminster is one I couldn’t miss.
I work with a number of accounts to help drive their political engagement, policy creation, and public/political engagement strategies. I enjoy working with clients to understand the depths of what they are wanting to achieve and ensuring that their own expectations are continually exceeded.
In addition to supporting clients directly, I am also continually looking for new opportunities to support industry proactively engage with parliamentarians. Government policy needs to be both practical and world leading, and I enjoy supporting organisations to partner with the government and help them turn their ideas into practice.
I am an unapologetic history nerd so I can usually be found in a castle, church or cathedral. Otherwise I will usually be queuing to see a show, or curling up with the latest John Grisham bestseller.
