I am an experienced political adviser and former civil servant having worked for both the Australian Government and British parliamentarians. As an adviser in the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, I provided advice to the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister’s Office, and senior departmental executives on policy relating to immigration, multicultural affairs, disaster recovery, and agriculture.
Most recently I worked in the House of Commons for two Conservative Members of Parliament, Rt Hon. Lord Goldsmith of Richmond Park and for Mark Garnier MP, where developed and continues to maintain many valuable contacts of key decision makers within Government.
I enjoy quickly getting across key policy issues and engaging with stakeholders to enable policy reform. Throughout my work in politics, I have maintained a strong interest in stakeholder engagement. When an opportunity to work for JBP came around, I jumped at the chance. Their reputation within Westminster is strong, and their diverse range of clients appeals to me.
I work on a number of our key accounts assisting with political communication, parliamentary engagement and political/public affairs campaign strategies. I enjoy working with clients both large and small, assisting with their political engagement and delivering on their key objectives. As well as engaging with business leaders and civil servants, I engage with politicians from a range of political parties in the House of Commons, the House of Lords and in local government.
I enjoy cooking all things Italian, partial to a negroni, and try to go swimming and play tennis a few times a week (but only so I can enjoy more of said food and drink!). If there’s any time left you can find me with friends on a weekend.
