Promoting the roll out of a new community-led mobility hub taking the property market by storm

JBP Communications has been appointed by Zimbl to provide communications and stakeholder engagement support for the roll out of its new community-led mobility hubs across the UK.

Zimbl, which started life as an EV-hire business, has developed a new one-stop shop hub model that is attracting significant interest from property developers and housebuilders.

The hubs will bring together services such as EV hire and charging, e-bike hire, smart and sustainable power, workspaces and a farm shop and café under one roof, whether in the heart of a community, in a commercial or industrial park setting, or incorporated into public sector estates such as hospitals and local authority sites.

They are designed to reduce second car ownership, enable higher density housing on new developments, support the planning case through meeting the requirements of Section 106 and help councils and developers achieve their net zero targets.

The company is planning to build 40 hubs over the next few years.

We will be responsible for the PR and marketing of the hubs to attract interest from housing, commercial and industrial property developers as well as investors.

In the first major milestone in our work to support the roll out of the new community-led mobility hubs, our team has developed and delivered a new corporate website to act as a clear, conversion-focused platform to support investor and partnership growth.

Leading the project end-to-end, we combined strategic insight, UX, design and SEO copywriting to bring Zimbl’s unique proposition to life and create a central hub for the new model.

The platform will support Zimbl as it continues to engage investors, local authorities, residential developers and commercial partners.
